Index Errors for Cardiovascular Chapter Entries in First Aid for the USMLE Step 1 2019
Due to an unfortunate publisher/production folio issue, most index entries related to the Cardiovascular chapter (pp. 277-320) in First Aid for the USMLE Step 1 2019 are incorrectly shifted forward by 4-7 pages. This affects about 4% of the index, with errors found between pp. 731-791. The publisher and production teams apologize for this inconvenience.
Depending on what works best for your study needs, we offer the following solutions:
- Add a note to your book’s index to manually adjust any Cardiovascular chapter entries (entries referring to pp. 277-320) between 4-7 pages backwards (subtract 4-7 pages from the index entry). The number of pages is not exact but you will be within range.
- We are providing a tracked changes version of the corrected index, with all updates marked. You can mark up your copy with this PDF. This manual markup may take you 1-2 hours of clerical work.
- We are providing a clean, corrected version of the PDF, which you can swap out for the original index. This works especially well for those who have converted their book to a 3-ring binder.
- Use the corrected version of the PDF electronically to replace your usage of the index in the back of your book.
