Free Course on Sexual and Reproductive Health and Rights (SRHR)

Last year, ScholarRx initiated the creation of MeSAGE, the Medical Student Alliance for Global Education. It was designed to provide students with proper tools and training so that they could play an active role in leading the next wave of the 21st century approach to medical education. 

Through ScholarRx’s revolutionary Rx Bricks digital learning platform, MeSAGE builds interactive lessons known as “Bricks” that focus on areas that are often underrepresented in the traditional medical education models, including health equity, diversity, and social justice.

Sexual and Reproductive Health and Rights Collection

We are excited to announce the release of our first collection of MeSAGE bricks, focusing on Sexual and Reproductive Health and Rights (SRHR).  Topics include:

• Introduction to Sexual and Reproductive Health and Rights
• Sexual Orientation, Gender Identity, and Gender Expression
• Sexual Function and Satisfaction
• Taking a Sexual History
• Family Planning, Infertility, and Preconception
• Safe Abortion
• Gender-Based Violence

These are just a few of the many competencies we cover in this FREE mini-course, developed by med students to better educate you on what you need to know about sexual and reproductive health and rights. Whether you already are familiar with some of the key concepts or curious to build your knowledge as a future healthcare professional, these Bricks offer an exceptional learning opportunity.
