Are you a medical student interested in one day becoming a medical educator? Or do you have any students who have expressed an interest in teaching and training? During the upcoming annual conference being presented by IAMSE (the International Association of Medical Science Educators), ScholarRx will be holding a FREE online workshop in conjunction with our NEST (New Educator and Scholars Training) program.
This virtual event will take place on Saturday, June 12, 2021, and run from 1:45 pm to 4:45 pm EDT. Â You can learn more here.
As a medical student, you can register for free. Here are the steps to take:
- Send a message to support@iamse.org indicating that you’re a medical student. Any of the following qualifies as proof of your status as a student:
- Photocopy of your dated student ID (with current date)
- Photocopy of your class registration
- Photocopy of your class schedule
- Photocopy of your school bill
- URL of your institution’s publicly accessible web page or web directory that proves your student status
- You will receive a discount code from IAMSE Support which will waive the student registration fee to attend the NEST workshop.
- Register online at www.iamseconference.org for the conference.
- If NEST doesn’t appear free, you can still register for it without paying the fee. Just let IAMSE (support@iamse.org) know there was an error. IAMSE will waive the fee from your registration.
